Looking Back on 2019

2019’s been another big, exciting year here at Pumpkin’s. Looking back, it feels like we’ve got a lot to celebrate this holiday season. It’s been a busy year, for sure, full of deliveries, diapers, and drop-offs. We’ve attended baby shows all over the province, spreading the word about cloth diapering across Alberta and even opening up a new service in the city of Lloydminster – a huge moment of growth and celebration! We forged a brand-new connection with Lil’ Hoots Consignment Boutique (one that included us hosting a fun and memorable learning seminar!) and continued to grow in partnership with our fluff-loving colleagues at Babes in Arms, Cloth Diaper Kids, and the Calgary Cloth Diaper Depot.

The best part of 2019, though? Well, that’d be the families that are our clients, of course! We saw some families leave our fold as their little ones grew up and out of our service – but we also met lots of new, excited (and sometimes frazzled!) parents as they welcomed their first (or fourth!) new addition to the family. It’s these relationships – the new families, the new little ones, and the brand-new moms and dads – that make our job so special and worthwhile, and it’s these relationships and friendships that stand out as truly special as we look back on these past 12 months and head into the new year.
